Make some noise in this course that builds upon the foundation of tap dance technique. With warmups and drills focusing on tap dance vocabulary, clarity of sound, rhythmic variety, aesthetic quality, and the beginnings of improvisation, students will apply their skills to rhythm and show tap choreography. We recommend having a basic tap dance vocabulary including shuffles, flaps, paradiddles, etc. Tap shoes are required. (Need to borrow shoes? Email firstname.lastname@example.org – she may have an extra pair!)
