For dancers with prior ballet training who are comfortable with fundamental ballet vocabulary and barre work. Ideal for returning dancers and those seeking continued technical development. This class builds on the foundations of ballet through basic barre, center exercises, and simple choreography. With an emphasis on alignment, technique, and artistic expression, dancers are encouraged to modify movement for their body’s needs. A basic understanding of ballet principles and terminology is recommended. Taught by dancer, choreographer, and educator Allison Hertzberg.

Use the Henry LaBrun Studio entrance on the far-left side of Wortham Center’s front courtyard (accessed from Biltmore Avenue). Standing signs will direct you to the studio door with a visible “CLASSES” sign posted.
