When Alex ventures into Wonderland, he finds a world ruled by arrogance and fear – one that looks uncomfortably familiar. With help from a growing resistance, Alex learns to use his voice and stand up for what’s right. Inspired by the world around us, this adaptation of Alice in Wonderland mixes familiar characters with sharp political parallels and a story about courage and truth.
Created and performed by the students of ZigZag Agile Learning Center, Jabberwocky Rising brings a sharp, modern edge to a classic tale.
