Experience ALT ASO like never before, as the Asheville Symphony’s genre-bending chamber orchestra explores the rich tradition of tango at the Diana Wortham Theatre. Joined by professional tango dancers and Argentinean-American baritone Gustavo Feulien, this program journeys from the golden age of Argentine tango to the bold, contemporary voice of Piazzolla.

Across three sets, familiar favorites and lesser-known works will unfold through the music of Canaro, Di Sarli, Troilo, Pugliese, and Gotan Project. With expressive melodies and dynamic interplay between music and dance, this ALT ASO performance promises a night of passion, elegance, and musical storytelling.
