As the truth of her family’s fate is revealed, she must choose between reconciliation and vengeance. Told through shadow puppetry, actors in silhouette, and live music—this Emmy Award-winning company creates an experience like a silent film coming to life on stage.

About Manual Cinema
Manual Cinema is an Emmy Award-winning performance collective, design studio, and film production company founded in Chicago in 2010. Combining handmade shadow puppetry, cinematic techniques, live music, and innovative sound design, the company creates immersive stories for stage and screen. Their work includes animated films created for the Obama Presidential Center Museum in Chicago, contributions to the 2021 film Candyman, and productions such as Leonardo! A Wonderful Show About a Terrible Monster, A Christmas Carol, The Magic City, and Future Feeling.
