BANFF Film Screening benefiting MountainTrue
Fri, Sept 12 and Sat, Sept 13 2025 7 pm
Since 1976, the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival, a flagship program of Banff Centre, has been an industry leader in the celebration of Mountain Culture. They promote understanding and appreciation of the world’s mountain places by creating opportunities for people to share and find inspiration in mountain experiences, ideas, and visions. Following the festival each fall, their annual World Tour reaches more than 45 countries on 7 continents, making it the largest adventure film tour on the planet. MountainTrue is thrilled to bring the World Tour to Asheville, NC this September.
All proceeds from the screenings support the work of MountainTrue.
MountainTrue champions resilient forests, clean waters, and healthy communities in the Southern Blue Ridge Mountains. Our members and volunteers protect our forests, clean up our rivers, plan vibrant and livable communities, and advocate for a sound and sustainable future for all. In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, MountainTrue is committed to leading the recovery of our region with a vision to rebuild stronger, safer, and better prepared for the impacts of climate change. mountaintrue.org
