Wortham 2026/27 Season
New Dialect: 21 Yeses
Fri & Sat, Oct 23 & 24, 2026 • 8 pm
Diana Wortham Theatre
Imagining the tech-aesthetic of a space odyssey, New Dialect’s 21 Yeses blends contemporary dance with bold lighting technologies to explore light as movement and darkness as action. Choreographer Banning Bouldin (seen in Stewart/Owen Dance+ Guests in 2026) and production designer Michael Brown (Bon Iver) take audiences into a mesmerizing interplay where motion and illumination capture and release one another in an endless distance.
“An evocative, ever-shifting dreamscape that is fascinating to watch.” — Nashville Scene
